Programs
First Presbyterian has a strong commitment to educate, nurture, and support all our members--children, youth and adults, as we celebrate our Journey Toward Discipleship through all life’s stages. We offer a broad range of educational “stepping stones” designed to help all members along their spiritual journey through opportunities for worship, Bible study, fellowship, prayer and service.
We offer steps for:
Beginning...so that we become believers; that is, to know God as God has been revealed to us through Scripture and through the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of God's Son, Jesus Christ;
Growing...so that we mature as believers, that is, to grow in faith, love and knowledge of God by participating in the practices and disciplines of the Christian community;
Living...so that we may live as believers; in a community in which faith is celebrated,
nurtured, transmitted, and sustained; and
Sharing...so that we respond as believers, by seeking to carry out the work of ministry in the world through worship and discipleship.
