Worship Services
Worship is central to our life and faith. We are commanded to worship the Lord at all times and in all places, though we gather for corporate worship twice on Sunday mornings. The purpose of worship is to glorify God, be inspired by His Word, and to carry to the Word into the world.
Genesis Service – 8:30am
Our Genesis service is best described as blended worship with a casual feel. The music runs the gamut from traditional hymns (Amazing Grace, How Great Thou Art, etc.) to more contemporary praise and worship choruses (Our God is an Awesome God, Sanctuary, etc.).
Communion is served every week and multi-media elements are incorporated so that your eyes as well as your ears will be engaged in the act of worship.
The Genesis service began a number of years ago in the courtyard, which it soon outgrew. The Chapel offers a more casual and intimate atmosphere, where you are welcome to have a cup of coffee while you worship.
Traditional Service – 10:30am
Our late worship happens in our beautiful sanctuary (pics). Worship follows the order found in the Presbyterian Book of Common Worship. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
