How do I become a member?
One becomes a member by transferring membership from another Christian church, adult baptism and public profession of faith, or reaffirmation of faith. Click the Membership link for a further description of membership at First Presbyterian Church.

Can I rent the gym, cafe, or another space for a meeting or birthday party?
First Presbyterian Church does rent space for meetings and birthday parties. Please contact Director of Recreation Ministry Heather Lyles for information about the gym or cafe at hlyles@firstpresdalton.org, or Linda Hornbuckle for use of other church facilities at lhornbuckle@firstpresdalton.org.

With which Presbyterian Church is First Presbyterian Church affiliated?
First Presbyterian Church is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA), the largest Presbyterian denomination in the United States. There are approximately 11,000 PC(USA) churches and 2.4 million members nationwide.
The Presbyterian Church (USA) is a connectional church that is organized into presbyteries and synods. We are one of 41 churches in Cherokee Presbytery. Cherokee Presbytery is part of the Synod of the South Atlantic, comprised of churches in Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida.
